On November 10, Park DuValle Community Health Center (PDCHC) hosted a Grand Opening at our new location for its neighborhood health center serving the Newburg/Buechel community.
Upon opening, the 11,000-square-foot clinic will be expanding its services to include Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Behavioral Health, WIC, Dental, and Pharmacy.
“I’m very excited about this opportunity to expand our services in the Newburg/Buechel community”. We intend to improve health outcomes by focusing on chronic disease. This is a great time to celebrate the new center”, said CEO Dr. Swannie Jett
Park DuValle Community Health Center, the oldest federally qualified health center in Kentucky, just celebrated its 53rd anniversary and is a community health care clinic network that has seven locations in Louisville, Spencer County, and Henry. PDCHC was opened in 1968 by Dr. Harvey Sloane, who later served as Mayor of Louisville for two terms. PDCHC is currently under the direction of Dr. Swannie Jett.
