With that in mind, we’re excited to announce recent leadership transitions within our Board of Directors and the addition of three outstanding new members.
Leadership Transitions: A Stronger Future
Stepping into the role of Chair of the Board of Directors is Kevin D. Bruce Sr., previously serving as Vice Chair. Kevin brings a deep commitment to our mission and a wealth of experience that will help drive our strategic vision forward. His leadership will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organization.
Former Chair Deborah Thomas will now transition into the role of Immediate Past Chair, providing invaluable insight and continuity as we navigate this exciting new chapter. Angela Wilson, who previously served as Secretary, has been appointed Vice Chair, continuing her impactful contributions to our board. Additionally, we welcome Vickie Williams as our new Secretary of the Board, bringing her organizational expertise and dedication to community health.

Beyond our leadership transitions, we’re thrilled to welcome three new members to our Board of Directors, each bringing unique expertise and a passion for healthcare advocacy:
- Dr. Shorye Durrett – Assistant Dean for Medical Student Affairs at the University of Louisville School of Medicine
- Dr. Karan Shah – Founder and Managing Partner of Physician Coordination Consultants (PC3)
- Alfred Smith – VP Market Leader Organizational Financial Wellness for Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Nashville at PNC
