Dr. Jett previously served as Director of Health and Human Services for Brookline, Massachusetts from 2017 to 2021, and as Health Officer/Surgeon General for Seminole County, Florida from 2013 to 2016. Dr. Jett previously served in Kentucky as Health Officer of the Bullitt County Health Department from 2009 to 2013. Dr. Jett is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Rhode Island Air National Guard.
As CEO of Park DuValle Community Health Center, Dr. Jett is looking forward to addressing issues involving Social Determinates of Health including women’s health services, men’s health, tobacco use, and health inequities.
Dr. Jett holds a Doctorate of Public Health with emphasis in Environmental Health and Preventive Medicine from the University of Kentucky, Master of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in Bio-Systems Engineering, and Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Statistics from Tennessee State University.
