Kentucky HEALTH and Medicaid benefits have been a bit of a headache lately. But, we’re getting more good news! Dental and Vision coverage is to be reinstated by August 1, 2018.
Since the beginning of July, when a Federal Judge blocked Gov. Bevin’s work requirements for Medicaid, nearly 400,000 people in Kentucky have been without vision and dental coverage. After a ton of backlash and no viable solution in site, these benefits will be restored.
If you have been to the dentist or eye doctor since losing coverage, you must contact your Managed Care Organization (MCO) for reimbursement, otherwise you will be billed.
We don’t have a ton of information at this point, but we will keep updating the blog as more information becomes available.
